Health benefits provider Cigna Healthcare has launched a new solution tailored to Japanese employees working for multinational organisations in the UK.

The Cigna Inspire Asia Expat solution features a “connected concierge experience with Japanese-speaking customer support” that “understands the cultural nuances and plan designs that are culturally relevant”.

It also includes a personalised customer portal, digital tools, employee material in Japanese, and an online provider directory of designated Japanese-speaking providers.

Cigna stated that it launched the product to meet the needs of a growing number of Japanese professionals working in Europe – with the UK standing out as a “critical hub”.
