battleface partners with AirLegit

Travel insurer battleface joins forces with air travel technology firm AirLegit to launch FlightGuard48 solution worldwide
FlightGuard48 is a digital tool providing a range of services, including flight monitoring and alerts, automated check-in and mobile pass issuance; airline rebooking fee reimbursement; and alternative route recommendations and arrangement. AirLegit will now offer its automated services as part of the solution.
“We are pleased to partner with battleface’s global underwriting and technology teams,” said Sneharthi Roy, AirLegit CEO. “We are confident that the new automated services we are bringing to market will improve our partners’ air travel experiences, providing access to the relevant information in a mobile actionable way through AirLegit’s leading-edge travel technology.”
battleface said that FlightGuard48 will be made available via partner APIs, to travel agencies and corporate travel managers ‘of any size’. The company’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Lisa Conway, added that ‘the new airline rebooking fee reimbursement option will give AirLegit’s partners the ability to assist customers worldwide who are stranded at the airport and help alleviate any financial implications this could have’.
battleface also launched a travel insurance product for Canadian consumers earlier this month, in partnership with Hunter McCorquodale.
