battleface launches Canadian travel product
The company has entered the Canadian market with the launch of a travel insurance product developed in partnership with Hunter McCorquodale
The policy includes protection against medical and emergency expenses for up to C$5 million (US$ 3.7 million); trip cancellation for up to C$20,000 per person; and personal liability for up to C$500,000.
battleface also plans to custom-build programs for B2B2C and B2C travel distribution partners in the country, as well as designing group travel policies for the corporate, education and non-profit sectors.
The company will also take advantage of Hunter McCorquodale’s network of Canadian brokers as it continues to expand further. battleface’s medical and travel insurance policies in Canada are underwritten by Northbridge General Insurance.

US-based travel insurance provider Travelex also announced plans to expand into Canada in November 2022.
