AXA Health appoints new Medical Director for Services and Delivery
New appointee Dr Corné Hurter previously worked at HCA UK, and holds a master’s degree in Medical Management and Leadership
AXA Health has named Dr Corné Hurter as its new Medical Director for Services and Delivery.
Dr Hurter will join the company’s Commercial team in March, and will report to Dr Ali Hasan, Commercial Director at AXA Health.
Dr Hurter was previously employed at private healthcare provider HCA UK, where she has worked since 2016, in roles such as Medical Director for Care Transformation, and Director of Medical Services.
She also holds a master’s degree in Medical Management and Leadership.
“I’m delighted that Corné will be joining us in March in this new role,” said Dr Hasan. “I’m confident that her rich and extensive experience in healthcare delivery and management, across a range of different institutions, will be a real addition to our team and will help us deliver our strategy and provide a great service to our members.”

Oliver Cuenca is a Junior Editor for Voyageur Group, joining in 2021. He also serves as Title Editor of the Assistance & Repatriation Reviews. Oliver holds an MA in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University, as well as a BA in English with Creative Writing from Falmouth University.
