APRIL International partners with Sompo in APAC
The two companies will focus on offering IPMI products and services across the region, starting in Singapore
APRIL International has announced a partnership with insurance provider Sompo to expand its international private medical insurance (IPMI) services in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The agreement will see APRIL and Sompo co-develop IPMI solutions combining underwriting, claims management, and assistance expertise to sell across the region.
The two companies will initially focus on the Singapore market, with the first joint offerings due to launch in December, before expanding to other APAC markets in the near future.
The collaboration strengthens APRIL’s position in the global IPMI market, while allowing Sompo to broaden its reach and portfolio in the APAC region.

Sompo also recently formed a partnership with Collinson to offer flight delay benefits to customers.
