The Chinese insurance joint partnership has added a benefit that guarantees payment of medical costs in the event of a life-threatening incident
Chinese insurance firm AllianzJD – a joint venture between Allianz and online retailer JD.com – has announced upgrades to its travel insurance policy.
The policy now features Allianz JD’s Priority Rescue benefit, which offers immediate advancing or guaranteeing of upfront medical expenses in life-threatening situations, such as serious accidents or acute illnesses.
The policy is available both to outbound travellers from China, and inbound international visitors to the country, and is designed to ensure that travellers receive prompt treatment without having to worry about financial hurdles.
“In an era of global travel recovery, every traveller’s top priority is peace of mind,” said an AllianzJD spokesperson. “This Priority Rescue upgrade directly meets that need by dismantling traditional barriers in emergency assistance.
