Allianz Partners launches new international health insurance plans
The new plans, offered as part of its Care line, are designed to meet the needs of both individuals and families
Allianz Partners has announced the launch of a new range of international health insurance plans as part of its Care line.
The products are designed for residents of the UK and European Union (EU) markets who intend to spend over 12 months away from their home country, such as expatriates, students, digital nomads, professionals, and families living and working abroad.
They will be available in three levels of coverage – Base, Enhanced, and Signature – with a simplified customer experience.
The plans are designed to offer comprehensive coverage, foster proactive health management, and deliver generous outpatient benefits. They also feature a range of optional add-ons, for things like outpatient services and dental care, to allow policyholders to better tailor their coverage.
Each product includes private room hospital accommodation, cancer screening, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and medical repatriation, while maternity, sleep apnoea, and bariatric surgery cover are included as part of the Enhanced and Signature plans.
Allianz also noted that while the plans were currently being rolled out in the European market, new offerings for other regions, including Dubai and Asia Pacific (APAC), would follow.
“We’ve listened closely to feedback from our customers and brokers, and the new Care plans now include additional benefits as part of the Core offering, reduced waiting periods for key services like maternity, psychology, and expanded outpatient coverage,” said Mariana Ishchuk, Global Head of Product Management and Innovation, Health at Allianz Partners.
Allianz UK recently appointed a new Head of AI to drive innovation and growth.
