Allianz UK appoints Head of AI to drive innovation and growth
Mansoor Reehana has been appointed as Head of AI, a new role focused on advancing enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy and innovation
Allianz UK has announced the appointment of Mansoor Reehana to the newly created role of Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to lead the strategic growth of AI initiatives.
In his new role, within the central data team, Reehana will be responsible for the strategy, architecture and product delivery of AI projects, aligning cutting-edge technologies with Allianz’s business goals. He will oversee the delivery of enterprise-scale AI and machine learning platforms, fostering cross-functional collaboration and ensuring ethical, scalable deployment of AI solutions.
Bringing more than 17 years of experience in the data sector, Reehana joined Allianz in May 2023 as a Data Science Manager and has been instrumental in managing a portfolio of data science, machine learning and AI activities. He has played a pivotal role in the design and migration of AI platforms and the implementation of generative AI.
Prior to joining Allianz, he held roles at EY’s AI centre of excellence, and at Crawford & Company, where he was responsible for leading global data transformation initiatives.
