Zurich Singapore appoints new A&H head
The new appointee, Nixon Ooi, brings 12 years of industry experience to the role
Zurich Insurance Company (Singapore) has announced the appointment of Nixon Ooi as its new Head of Accident and Health (A&H).
Ooi has 12 years of experience in the insurance sector, and joins Zurich from Chubb, where he also most recently served as their Head of A&H. He also previously held underwriting roles at Tokio Marine Life and InterGlobal.
Ooi will report directly to the Chief Underwriting Officer for Singapore, Alexandra Cowley, and will be responsible for leading the underwriting, portfolio management, and proposition management of Zurich Singapore’s A&H division.

With his leadership, customer focus and deep understanding of the market, Nixon is very well positioned to enhance our proposition, ensuring that Zurich Singapore’s offerings remain competitive and responsive to customer needs.”
