WorldTrips teams up with bolt
WorldTrips Travel Insurance has partnered with insurtech bolt to provide its customers with global device protection
The partnership will also see WorldTrips customers offered the ability to acquire coverage for their devices while purchasing their travel insurance.
The combined plan offers protection to “all individuals and their devices in the travelling party of the insured”.
The plan includes coverage for a range of devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops, and claims can be submitted at any time via a “fully digital online claims process”.
“At WorldTrips, we are constantly considering pain points that impact travellers and finding ways to address them with simple and affordable solutions,” said Mark Carney, President and CEO, WorldTrips.
“We see bolt as an ideal partner because of their unique device protection product that is easily accessible at any time and anywhere in the world. With people storing so much critical information on their devices these days, it is paramount to ensure those devices are protected when people travel,” he added.
