VisitorsCoverage launches travel insurance ‘storefront’ solution
The platform allows insurance agents to sell travel insurance products via their website without requiring in-depth technical skills
The software as a service (SaaS) solution, called Treppy, is designed to enable ‘insurance agents and agencies with little to no technical experience to embed travel insurance’ into their websites.
Treppy is the successor to the company’s TMQuotes platform, and is described as a ‘digital storefront’, intended to offer a ‘more dynamic platform, with the versatility to serve both established travel insurance agents and those new to the industry’.
In a statement, VisitorsCoverage said: “The no-code integration functionality empowers agents who specialize in sales but do not have a dedicated development team to quickly launch a marketplace under their branding, [but that] application programming interface (API) integration allows agents with a dedicated development team to customize their marketplaces seamlessly.”
VisitorsCoverage said that Treppy was designed to help meet the growing demand faced by the travel insurance industry.
“The travel insurance sector has lagged behind other industries when it comes to technology. Consequently, meeting increased demand can be challenging. Treppy was designed to help solve this issue,” said VisitorsCoverage CEO Rajeev Shrivastava.
VisitorsCoverage also launched a new travel medical plan designed for US visitors with pre-existing conditions in August.
