Turkish hospital receives Covid-safe certification
Anatolia Hospital Group is the first in Turkey and the second in the world to be awarded Temos’ ‘Certificate of Compliance: Covid-19 Safe – Minimising the Risk of Transmission’
Anatolia Hospital Group comprises seven facilities in Antalya's most touristic areas, from Kemer to Alanya. Since 1993, with 27 years' experience, the hospital group has been providing high-level healthcare services to local and international patients. Temos was founded in 2010 and is an international healthcare accreditation body.
Aylin Yilmaz, Assistant Director at Anatolia International & Antalya Anadolu Hospitals, explained that Anatolia Hospital Group has been a loyal partner of Temos since the first day of its foundation.
Extra protection for international patients
The main aim of the new certification programme is to reduce viral exposure and the transmission of Covid-19 in individual healthcare facilities, explained Yilmaz.
Dr Claudia Mika, Founder & CEO of Temos International, added that reputable resources like those from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and ISQua, as well as case studies, were evaluated by the Temos’ experts. They were also summarised in a document that contains around 60 standards and more than 60 references.
“We, as Temos International Accreditation Body, are very pleased to have accompanied the realisation of this mission and vision and we look forward to continuing co-operation with Anatolia Hospital Group in future innovative projects and ‘being first’,” said Dr Mika.
