Trawick secures Lloyd’s broker registration
The dedicated Lloyd’s broker is expected to provide additional flexibility in how risks are placed within the Trawick group
Trawick Holdings, the parent company of travel insurer Trawick International and its sister company Greenlight Insurance Services, has secured a broker registration at Lloyd’s of London.
The Lloyd’s brokerage operates under Greenlight Insurance Services Ltd, trading as Trawick International, and provides the Trawick Holdings group with direct access to the Lloyd’s insurance market for the purpose of placing business on behalf of its insurance brands.
The company said that the broker registration would enable the group to “support placement, capacity access, and programme structuring across its portfolio … in line with applicable regulatory and market requirements”.
Greenlight and Trawick International will continue to operate separately as Lloyd’s coverholders in the UK and the US respectively, holding delegated underwriting authority from Lloyd’s syndicates where appointed.
Trawick said that establishment of a dedicated Lloyd’s broker within the group would provide additional flexibility in how risks were placed while maintaining clear separation between brokerage and underwriting functions.
The brokerage will be led by Tim Gowler, Head of Risk Management for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA) at Trawick International, who will report to Claire Hargreaves.
Trawick International entered the UK accident and health (A&H) insurance sector in September 2025.
