Trawick launches new travel policies
The company has announced the launch of three new travel insurance policies, created in partnership with Starr Insurance
Trawick International stated that the three policies – called Safe Travels Armor, Safe Travels Defend, and Safe Travels Protect – are designed to provide ‘reliable, comprehensive coverage at competitive rates’.
All plans will include ‘primary medical and comprehensive pre- and post-departure coverage’, and will be underwritten by Starr’s US subsidiary, Starr Indemnity & Liability Company.
Safe Travels Armor – the most ‘robust’ plan, will also offer optional cancel for any reason (CFAR) and pre-existing coverage on plans purchased within 14 days of the initial trip deposit.
The plans will be available to all US residents travelling both domestically and internationally. They will offer a ‘free look period’ that allows policyholders who are not satisfied to get their premium cost refunded within 14 days of purchase, as long as they have not departed or filed a claim.
“We look forward to working with Trawick International, adding them to the growing network of travel insurance providers that rely on Starr insurance to help protect travellers in the US and around the world,” said Michael Grossman, Assistant Vice President for Accident and Health at Starr.
Trawick appointed Dr Odemis Enriquez as Medical Director of its Latin America division earlier this year.
