Thailand

The government of Thailand is looking to reduce the number of visa-free days that ‎foreign tourists can stay in the country to 30‎

The planned change, reported by Bloomberg, is in response to concerns about a ‎growing number of travellers exploiting the waiver to engage in illegal business.‎

Since mid-2024, Thailand has allowed passport holders from 93 countries to enter the ‎country for a period of up to 60 days under a visa waiver scheme.‎

Authorities stated that there would be further discussion before the regulation change ‎was officially announced.‎
