Staysure appoints new Group CEO
UK-based travel insurance specialist Staysure Group has appointed Finn Walsh as its new Group CEO
Walsh previously served as Staysure’s Chief Customer and Technology Officer, having joined the business in October 2022. The company said his appointment to the new role is expected to begin a ‘new age of automation and digitisation’.
Prior to joining Staysure, Walsh served as Digital and Marketing Director at Hastings Direct. He has also served in a number of other roles, including with the AA, Lloyds Banking Group and Tesco, during his 15 years of experience in digital and e-commerce.
“I’m thrilled to be leading Staysure into this new era of transformation. To truly create the insurtech brand of the future, our focus needs to go beyond just customer experience and move to improving the total experience of the company,” said Walsh. “My focus will be on how we deliver an exceptional experience to any customer or employee, with a holistic, tech-enabled and people-centric approach.”
He added: “In the past year, we’ve delivered the foundations for future growth with our digital transformation strategy, and we’re excited to take the next steps and launch these to our customers.”
Staysure Group acquired full ownership of travel insurance price comparison site PayingTooMuch in September 2022.
