Squaremouth expands Trawick partnership with new coverage options

Squaremouth has expanded its partnership with Trawick International Travel Insurance, adding two new plans to its travel insurance comparison marketplace.

Trawick Pathway Plus and Pathway Premium launched on Squaremouth on 27 August and are available to US residents in all states. The plans are positioned for luxury trips and longer holidays, offering coverage for journeys of up to 90 days and higher trip-cost limits than Trawick’s existing options on the platform.

Pathway Plus provides up to US$100,000 in primary emergency medical coverage and $350,000 for medical evacuation. Trip cancellation is covered at 100% of the insured trip cost, up to $50,000, while trip interruption is covered at 125%.

Pathway Premium increases emergency medical coverage to $200,000 and medical evacuation to $1 million. Trip cancellation is covered up to $100,000, with trip interruption coverage of up to 150% of the insured trip cost.

Both plans include 24/7 emergency assistance and offer optional upgrades, including adventure sports and rental car damage coverage, subject to eligibility, and state availability. Premium also offers optional 75% cancel for any reason and interruption for any reason coverage when purchased within 21 days of the initial trip deposit and subject to plan terms.

Record-high travel costs have failed to dampen summer demand, with insured trips rising despite soaring holiday prices, according to Squaremouth data.
