Sompo Insurance announces partnership
The partnership will give Sompo Insurance’s Thai customers instant access to airport lounges in the event of a flight delay
Collinson’s SmartDelay solution for automatic airport lounge access has been integrated into Sompo’s TravelJoy platform.
Consequently, eligible single and annual travel insurance policyholders in Thailand are now able to acquire a digital lounge access voucher in the event of a flight delay.
Sompo confirmed that the feature would be made available to its customers in other Asia-Pacific markets in the near future.

Starr Insurance formed a similar partnership with Collinson last year to offer SmartDelay to the US market.
