Priceline.com adds new products
Travel insurance products from US-based Allianz Worldwide Partners will now be supplied by priceline.com, a provider of travel and related services, and the Priceline Partner Network. These products will be available to consumers booking flights, hotels and rental cars on these platforms.
The travel insurance products Allianz supplies provide consumers with coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, medical and dental emergencies, travel delays, lost, stolen or delayed baggage and access to a 24-hour travel assistance hotline.
Both parties are extremely happy with the partnership. "We're pleased to be able to offer our customers the insurance products and award-winning service available from Allianz Travel Insurance," said Ben Harrell, senior vice-president at priceline.com.
