ITIJ issue out now October 1

The October issue of ITIJ is now available to read online, with features on preventing travel insurance fraud, technology, medical transports, travel security, and travel insurance market development opportunities

You’ll see some pretty major changes to the magazine this month! In this October 2021 issue are new sections for the various kind of news we publish – top stories for the industry remain at the front, but elsewhere we are highlighting the biggest policy changes and partnerships, detailing travel risk management news and travel trends. The International Hospitals & Healthcare Review (IHHR) – one of ITIJ’s supplements – is now incorporated into the magazine as well. We recognised that international hospital news is absolutely integral to our readers’ businesses, and we decided to have everything you need in one place.

Everything, that is, apart from the Assistance & Repatriation Review, which is included with this month’s ITIJ. For in-depth insights and analysis of the assistance, repats and funeral repats sectors, make sure you take a look.

So, onto content for this issue – once again we’ve tried to cover every sector of the industry – technology, medical transports, travel security, and travel insurance market development opportunities. Our feature on fraud contains insights from experts across the world involved in fraud prevention and detection, working on the latest technological solutions while never forgetting the innate sixth sense that humans have when it comes to whether or not someone is telling the whole truth.

Plus, I spoke to Chris Gooden of Voyager Insurance Services and Sasha Gainullin of battleface about travel insurer strengths, weakness and opportunities that providers can exploit. Plenty of great industry insights from these two experienced industry professionals.
