The disruption follows reports of an unidentified object near the German airport, although authorities have not established whether the incidents are connected
Flight operations at Nuremberg Airport in Germany were suspended today (Tuesday 13 October) following an aviation emergency, with authorities currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
German police confirmed that they had received a report of an unspecified airborne emergency, adding that the aircraft involved had subsequently landed safely at Nuremberg.

Authorities have not confirmed whether the reported drone activity was connected to Tuesday's aviation emergency.
