RATESDOTCA reports third quarter rise in Canadian travel insurance quotes

The offering will include coverage options for both individual trips and annual policies

Insurance broker NFP has announced that it will offer Personal Travel Insurance across Canada. The offering will be available to Canadians travelling within the country or abroad, as well as those visiting Canada from other countries.

Multiple policy options will be available as part of the offering, providing coverage for cancellation, delays, and travel interruptions due to medical emergencies, reservation issues and rental car damage or loss, as well as baggage theft or damage.

Coverage purchased through NFP in Canada will offer coverage options ‘for individual trips or unlimited trips on an annual policy’.

“NFP’s travel insurance team provides Canadians with peace of mind for unexpected occurrences whenever and wherever they travel,” said Greg Dunn, managing director, Personal Risk at NFP in Canada. “It is important to work with brokers who specialise in this type of insurance in order to get the best choice and expertise.”

“Clients can use the NFP travel insurance solutions to help manage the associated costs through coverage options that align with their specific needs,” added Josh Pauls, Vice President for National Sales, Personal Insurance, at NFP in Canada.

Canadian brokerage Navacord acquired the British Colombia-based SeaFirst Insurance Brokers last month.
