New Malaysian insurance comparison site launches
Malaysian insurance comparison site insureKU has launched its online platform, offering a range of products including travel insurance
The website, a subsidiary of financial management software creator Censof Holdings, launched last week, after receiving approval to begin operations from the Central Bank of Malaysia in April this year.
The company was an early participant in the Central Bank of Malaysia’s Financial Technology Regulatory Sandbox, an initiative that aims to support innovation in the financial services sector.
As well as travel insurance, insureKU currently offers motor and various medical insurance products. Personal accident and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) insurance are also due to become available via the platform in the near future.
Generali Group also launched a subsidiary in Malaysia last year, having gained control of two firms in the country.
