New health security verifications to be given to hotels and resorts worldwide
Forbes Travel Guide and digital health company Sharecare have teamed up to launch a new health security verification for hotels and resorts, which hopes to bolster traveller confidence
So far, Forbes Travel Guide and Sharecare have verified hotels and resorts across 12 countries: the United Arab Emirates, the US, Costa Rica, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UK and Greece.
Among the hotels already successfully Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide are: Atlantis, The Palm in the US, Crown Towers Melbourne in Australia, Drake Bay Getaway Resort in Costa Rica and Katikies Mykonos in Greece.
Properties will be identifiable to customers
Via Sharecare’s software-as-a-service solution, the verification dashboard, which is presented via an AI chatbot, details a property's real-time health security status across health and hygiene protocols, cleaning products and procedures, ventilation, physical distancing, the guest experience, and health safety communication with guests and employees.
In addition, hotels can display Sharecare’s ‘seal of approval’ emblem on their websites and properties.
50,000 hotels to be verified by 2022
The new health security verification development comes following Internova Travel Group having selected Sharecare and Forbes Travel Guide to validate the procedures and protocols at more than 50,000 hotels booked through its systems. Internova expects these to all be Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED® with Forbes Travel Guide by the end of Q1 2022.
