New golf product from Status
UK-based Status Global Insurance (SGI) recently announced the launch of its new comprehensive golf insurance product, underwritten by Lloyd’s of London, which provides cover for golf equipment and other golf-related claims. “Golfing can be a lot of fun,” stated the company, “but it also entails a sizeable monetary investment and risk, including golf clubs and equipment, membership fees, tournament fees, risk of property damage and so much more. Just like any investment, it’s important to protect yourself and your bank account from the unexpected.”
SGI offers three different levels of cover available for golf equipment, including cover for carts, buggies and electric trolleys, as well as additional benefits such as personal liability, dental treatment, and accidental and third party property damage. It also offers ‘hole-in-one’ cover, ‘to help pay for that round of drinks at the clubhouse when you celebrate’.
