Liberate’s voice recognition technologies will be integrated into Five Sigma’s claims management tools

Liberate, a developer of conversational artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for insurance, has announced a partnership with Five Sigma, the creator of AI-powered claims management tools.

The aim of the strategic partnership is to “deliver a fully automated, end-to-end claims experience for insurers and their policyholders” and will see Liberate integrate its voice and AI intake capabilities with Five Sigma’s claims technology.

This will include Clive, Five Sigma’s AI-powered claims adjuster tool, as well as the company’s claims management system.

The companies stated: “In moments of crisis, such as accidents or property damage, policyholders often experience heightened stress, making it challenging to articulate details through written communication. Voice interactions offer a more natural and immediate way for claimants to convey information, facilitating quicker and more accurate claims processing.”

The partners added that key capabilities that would be offered by the combined solutions include:

  • 24/7 availability – with policyholders able to file a claim 24/7, in any language, with zero hold or wait times
  • Faster, omnichannel first notice of loss (FNOL) intake – allowing insurers to ensures claims are initiated instantly, without human intervention, eliminating call hold times and improving data accuracy
  • AI-enhanced claims orchestration – enabling the automation of data, document processing, and straight-through claims handling.

“This partnership extends our AI and automation-first vision,” said Oded Barak, CEO and Co–Founder of Five Sigma. “With Liberate’s voice AI intake capabilities and Clive’s orchestration, insurers can automate the entire claims journey – empowering adjusters, reducing overhead, and dramatically enhancing policyholders’ experience.”

UK travel insurer Staysure recently selected NiCE’s AI-driven CXone Mpower platform to support its digital transformation.
