It’s been a tumultuous year for the travel industry, and here at ITIJ, we know that those of you working to assist travellers have gone above and beyond in your efforts. As such, this year’s ITIJ Awards don’t just recognise excellence, they also pay homage to the extraordinary efforts made by all parties working across the travel and health insurance industry during these challenging times.
2020 ITIJ Awards recognise versatility and strength in the face of adversity
“The achievements of this year’s finalists over the last 12 months are testament to the rapid changes the industry is currently undergoing and the innovative solutions that are being developed as consumer needs change and industry challenges evolve,” said Sarah Watson, Editor of ITIJ. “Each finalist has certainly gone above and beyond in their dedication to excellence within the industry.
“This year has been challenging in ways that none of us could have foreseen, and the fact that companies have swiftly adapted to overcome the vast obstacles they have come across, and continue to provide their products and services for a changed world, is testament to the industry’s versatility and strength in the face of adversity.”

From the International Travel & Health Insurer of the Year to the Air Ambulance Company of the Year, all of this year’s awards finalists can be found here.
Extending his congratulations to all of this year’s finalists, Ian Cameron, Editor-in-Chief of ITIJ, wished them all the best of luck in the next stage. “We look forward to seeing you all at the virtual ITIC Global for what promises to be a very special night,” he added.
ITIJ Awards go virtual
Having worked hard to find a way to adapt our beloved ITIJ Awards ceremony so that it’s Covid-safe and accessible to all, we are pleased to announce that the 2020 ITIJ Awards will be taking place as a special virtual ceremony, running in partnership with ITIC Global.
On 5 November, from 19:00 GMT, the 2020 ITIJ Awards winners will be announced at itij.com/awards, and our delegates are invited to take part from the home, the office, or wherever they may find themselves, to celebrate the achievements of the hard-working members of the international travel and health insurance industry.
