International Airlines Group launches travel insurance product
The company, the parent of both British Airways and Iberia, launched the policy in partnership with Open, an embedded insurance specialist
IAG Loyalty, a subsidiary of the International Airlines Group, has announced the launch of a new travel insurance product.
The product, called Wanda by Avios, was delivered in partnership with Open, a specialist in embedded insurance, and is available to all UK residents.
Wanda policies can be purchased in both single-trip and annual multi-trip options. The multi-trip option, called Wanda Plus, also includes a range of additional benefits. These include the ability to get up to 70% of money back on flights if the policyholder cancels up to 48 hours before departure, automatic £25 payouts per traveller for flight delays of more than two hours, and a global roaming 10GB eSIM.
Travel insurer Faye has announced a new partnership with online travel agency Ski.com, offering embedded insurance to customers purchasing ski holiday packages.
