This policy will give Singapore residents an extensive range of coverage for post-pandemic travel

India International Insurance (III), based in Singapore, will be releasing i-Journey, their next travel insurance policy on 15 October 2022.

The policy includes coverage for terrorism, travel delays, child protection, loss of baggage or passport, personal money, home contents, and Covid-19 extended coverage.

The Covid-19 benefits in the extended coverage include medical expenses, repatriation of mortal remains to Singapore and country of origin for non-Singaporeans, travel cancellation, postponement, curtailment, overseas hospital expenses, overseas quarantine allowance, and any follow-up treatment required once back in Singapore.

After Singapore residents have been unable to travel for most of the last two years due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, many will be looking forward to their end-of-year holidays. However, many international borders require travellers to give proof of sufficient travel insurance to be granted a visa or entry. Many customers are looking for comprehensive packages that cover all their concerns, including those related to Covid-19. i-Journey by III aims to provide that for their Singapore customers.

Travel is back on the mind for Singaporeans post-pandemic and the summer saw many planning an overseas trip.
