Partnership puzzle pieces

The platform will support the Hop!’s customer journey, including policy creation, assistance and claims services

Managing general agent (MGA) Hop! has signed a partnership with travel assistance platform Robin Assist to acquire access to its digital platform.

Robin Assist’s application program interface (API) platform will enable Hop! to build travel protection from the ground up – with Robin Assist stating that their solution supports ‘easy product creation, policy rating, issuance and fulfilment, as well as assistance and claims services’.

Hop! offers a broad range of medical and travel assistance benefits for visitors to Australia, Canada, the US, and other destinations worldwide. The platform will enable them to offer a more customisable experience to clients.

“We went out to the market and asked customers what they really wanted – customisable plans, services for pre-existing conditions, and concierge benefits, as well as a seamless claims experience, were among the most sought-after features, said PK Rao, Hop!’s CEO. “Working with Robin Assist, we’ve checked all the boxes and brought to market unparalleled customer service using state-of-the-art technology.”

“With Robin Assist taking care of the entire customer journey from start to finish, Hop! can focus on the sales and marketing efforts,” added Mike Meeks, Chief Operations Officer at Robin Assist.
