The risk management provider aims to help employers break down barriers to healthcare and accelerate employee access to essential wellbeing tools

Healix has launched a new affordable digital healthcare solution, Healix ConneX. The service is designed to enable UK SMEs to provide their employees with low-cost, instant access to private healthcare pathways and essential treatment.

According to recent research by human resources body CIPD, workers are taking more sick days than at any time in the last decade.

Through the My Healix App, employees will have access to several benefits supported by professional clinical oversight to help manage existing healthcare issues and prevent symptoms from escalating.

Healix ConneX offers three levels of care for businesses:

  • The Lite package includes a virtual 24/7 GP service and mental health assessments
  • Healix ConneX Triage provides access to additional benefits including musculoskeletal assessments, a wellbeing platform to improve health, sleep and manage stress, cancer care support and MyGymDiscounts
  • ConneX Care offers workers face-to-face physio and mental health consultations.

Once employees have received a diagnosis, they will either be able to access further support and advice through the platform or be referred to external NHS services to receive additional care, if necessary.

Ian Talbot, CEO of Healix Health, said: “With the healthcare sector under immense pressure, and with businesses of all sizes continuing to navigate economic pressures, it is essential that affordable wellbeing support is available to reduce sick days and potentially contribute to increased workforce productivity.”
