Healix challenges ‘person in seat’ approach to embedded expertise
The move reflects growing demand for embedded travel insurance specialists who work as part of an organisation’s team, providing ongoing expertise and support rather than simply filling a role
Healix is expanding its Embedded Solutions proposition, arguing that organisations using an embedded travel insurance specialist – a dedicated expert working within the organisation’s team to provide specialist travel risk and insurance expertise – should get more than simply an individual filling a role, with the specialist bringing ongoing expertise and support to the wider organisation.
The healthcare and risk management company says clients need greater transparency over what they are paying for, as well as continuity and access to wider expertise that delivers longer-term value.
Healix Embedded Solutions combines embedded specialists with the company’s broader security, intelligence, and clinical expertise, alongside governance, professional development, quality assurance, and specialist reach-back support.
The model keeps embedded specialists connected to Healix throughout their assignments, providing clients with access to additional expertise while supporting the professionals through ongoing development and oversight.
James Henderson, CEO of Healix International, said continuity was critical to building lasting organisational capability.
Healix says its approach is designed to move embedded expertise away from transactional staffing towards longer-term partnerships, with investment in people, governance, and wider organisational support forming part of the value proposition.
The company recently strengthened its leadership team with three senior appointments.
