Gigasure listed as top 10 in InsurTech 50 ranking for 2025
Travel insurance specialist Gigasure has secured a top 10 spot in BusinessCloud’s annual ranking of the UK’s most innovative insurtech firms
Gigasure has been listed as number 10 in BusinessCloud’s InsurTech50 rankings for 2025. The list celebrates UK businesses who are creating innovative technology solutions to transform the insurance industry.
The InsurTech 50 highlights businesses of all sizes creating original tech solutions for insurance advice, products, and claims.
Gigasure offers travel, backpacker, and car hire excess insurance. In earning a top 10 spot on the InsurTech50 list, Gigasure has been recognised for its innovative insurtech platform that it says elevates the insurance experience by putting customers at the heart of its service. Gigasure sets itself apart by putting more control in customers’ hands to enable them to customise their insurance plan to their specific needs.
The final rankings are decided by a combination of reader votes and an expert judging panel who together agree on the 50 most innovative startups, scaleups, and established technology firms serving the insurance industry.
“This year’s InsurTech 50 showcases some truly cutting-edge technologies, from cloud platforms to artificial intelligence (AI) agents, natural language processing, and geospatial analysis,” said Jonathan Symcox, Editor of BusinessCloud.
“They are serving insurers, managing general agents and brokers with services such as underwriting, quoting and damage assessment, and introducing niche insurance products to the market. It is our pleasure to shine a light on 50 amazing innovators from all corners of the UK.”
Ernesto Suarez, CEO of Gigasure, said: “Our vision is to reshape the insurance experience through technological innovation to make products more accessible to customers.
“Being listed in the InsurTech50 is testament to the work the Gigasure team have put in to build a platform that is intuitive to consumer wants and needs and provides add-ons that help turn insurance into more of an experience. We’re thrilled to be recognised for this work and look forward to building on our success.”
