Embratur expands partnership with Royal Air Maroc
The Brazilian Tourist Board Embratur has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Moroccan flag carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM)
Embratur stated that the aim of the partnership is to leverage RAM’s global route network to “increase the supply of international air services and foreign tourist traffic at Brazilian airports”.
The 12-month renewable agreement was signed on 15 April at the WTM Latin America conference in São Paulo, and outlines joint participation in international trade shows, tourism promotion campaigns, and professional training programmes.
It also calls for improvements to passenger experiences at Brazilian airports, and the creation of multilingual content tailored to key markets.
The MoU builds on an existing international tourism acceleration programme (PATI) signed in 2024.
Brazil is growing in popularity as a tourist destination – Embratur reported record numbers of visitors last year.
