E-Travel System in effect in the Philippines
Data collected for border control, health surveillance, and economic data analysis
Since 15 April, a new E-Travel System has been in place in the Philippines to collect data on passengers arriving in and departing from the country.
The data will be used for establishing border control, health surveillance, and economic data analysis.
All travellers and flight crew members are required to register or update their records with the E-Travel System no more than 72 hours ahead of their scheduled time of arrival in the Philippines.
A similar procedure is required on departure for Filipino passengers only. They must register or update their records within 72 hours and no less than three hours before departure.
Paper-based registration cards will be available for use in the event that the E-Travel System is inaccessible or if a traveller is unable to use the system.
