Cover Genius renews partnership with Turkish Airlines
The embedded insurance specialist will expand its travel insurance offering with the flag carrier airline to new markets
Cover Genius has renewed its multi-year partnership with Turkish Airlines to continue offering embedded travel insurance to the airline’s customers.
The renewed agreement extends a partnership originally announced in 2022, and launched in 2023, while expanding the service to new markets.
Since deployment, Cover Genius has scaled up its offering with Turkish Airlines to 57 countries.
The next phase of the partnership will see Turkish Airlines expand its Cover Genius protection offering into new markets including Australia and Latin America, as well as introducing tailored protection options in the US and European Union (EU).
“What excites me most about airlines is the sheer scale of impact they have on consumers, and Turkish Airlines exemplifies that, serving more countries than any other airline in the world,” said Angus McDonald, CEO and Co-Founder of Cover Genius. “This renewal reflects a shared belief that embedded protection, when designed properly, can scale globally, remove friction for travellers, and deliver meaningful value for passengers and the airline.”
