Compass Point Assist unveils Compass Shield
The membership service provides real-time risk monitoring and guidance for travellers and corporations
Compass Point Assist has launched Compass Shield, a membership service aimed at enhancing risk management for travellers and corporations. The company, backed by Lloyd’s of London underwriters, offers emergency medical assistance, claims management, and crisis response services worldwide.
Compass Shield includes a dynamic risk map, destination-specific guidance, and alerts on political instability, extreme weather, and medical threats.
Jennifer Milton, Founder and CEO of Compass Point Assist, commented: “Compass Shield is about changing the game from reactive to proactive. We believe prevention is just as important as response – and by combining intelligence with assistance, we’re giving insurers, corporates, and travellers a genuine layer of protection that goes beyond policy wording.”
“In high-risk environments, information is protection,” added Michael O’Halloran, Head of Risk Strategy at Compass Point Assist. “Compass Shield gives members foresight – and that foresight means fewer crises, fewer claims, and more confidence for travellers and insurers alike.”
Milton concluded: “The best measure of effective risk management is not how quickly you can respond once a crisis begins – it’s how many crises you can help prevent.”
The Business Travel Association (BTA) and the Travel Risk and Incident Prevention (TRIP) Group have released a new report calling on UK businesses to prioritise employee safety and travel risk management.
