Cigna Healthcare launches digital hub for expats
It includes information on healthcare systems, wellbeing tools and advice on living and working overseas
Global health service company Cigna Healthcare has launched a dedicated hub for expats, designed to answer any questions expats may have at the beginning of their relocation journey.
Inside Expat Health provides advice on how to navigate new healthcare systems around the world, wellbeing tools and resources to support both individuals and families, along with tips from experienced expats on living and working overseas.
The new hub also includes a destination finder quiz to support prospective expats in the decision-making part of their journey. Once completed, all information is gathered and a suggested destination will be generated based on the answers provided along with a free downloadable country guide, including information from visa requirements and accommodation to education and employment.
In the coming months, a ‘school finder’ tool will also be introduced to support expats with young families, alongside a community platform for visitors to share tips and stories and explore health and lifestyle topics.
“Whether someone is becoming an expat for the first time or relocating for the fifth time, it can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride,” said Ross Walker, Chief Commercial Officer for Cigna Healthcare, International Health. “It often begins with a lot of anticipation and excitement, but when the move gets closer, you worry about what you will miss, who you leave behind and what you need to do to get established in a new place. We have been looking at what expats need and have put in place some of the most commonly asked for tools and resources that expats can use at any point in their expat journey.”
