Cigna Healthcare appoints new Hong Kong CEO
Michael Khan will oversee the growth and performance of Cigna’s business in Hong Kong, working under Robert Peat, the company’s CEO for the Asia-Pacific region
Cigna Healthcare has announced the appointment of Michael Khan as the new CEO of its Hong Kong business.
Khan has previously held senior roles with Mercer Marsh Benefits in London and Singapore, most recently leading its Health and Benefits practice in Hong Kong.
In his new role, Khan will be responsible for advancing the growth and performance of Cigna Healthcare’s employer health benefits and individual health businesses in Hong Kong, and will report to Robert Peat, CEO of Asia Pacific at Cigna Healthcare International Health.
“Hong Kong remains an important market for Cigna Healthcare,” said Peat. “We see continued momentum in demand for both individual and employer-sponsored health solutions, and Michael’s leadership will help us accelerate growth, strengthen our customer value proposition, and build durable capabilities to support long-term success in Hong Kong.”
Zurich recently appointed a new Head of Travel Insurance for Australia and New Zealand.
