Chubb offering Covid-19 cover to Philippine Airlines customers
Chubb has partnered with Philippine Airlines to offer complimentary Covid-19 cover to inbound travellers to the country
Philippine Airlines introduced the policy at the end of May, as part of plans to encourage visitors back to the Pacific nation – and the offer will run until 23 November 2022. The policy is underwritten by Chubb subsidiary, the Insurance Company of North America.
The policy is packaged along with any ticket booked to the Philippines, and offers coverage for a maximum trip duration of 30 days, starting from arrival.
Coverage is available to all individuals aged between two weeks and 75 years old, and includes:
- Covid-related Medical Expenses up to US$35,000
- Covid-related Medical Evacuation up to $35,000
- Personal accident coverage of $2,000
- 24/7 emergency medical and travel assistance.
Chubb also announced a deal with Royal Brunei Airlines to sell its range of travel insurance coverage to its customers earlier this month.
