The solution aims to address the challenges faced by businesses and their employees when ensuring the safety and duty of care of their globally mobile employees

Travel insurance provider battleface has announced the launch of its new corporate travel protection product, specifically designed to cater to companies who send employees to group events such as meetings, trade shows, or conferences – domestically or abroad.

Angela Shipman, Head of Partnerships and Business Development at battleface, commented: “At battleface, we have always prioritised the specific and ever-evolving needs of the modern traveller – for both business and leisure customers. Recognising the demand in the corporate sector, we have developed a product that not only covers the traditional aspects of travel protection, but also introduces key features at a palatable cost tailored to today’s dynamic business needs.”

Key features of the new product:

  • Robust coverage: plan provides benefits to all travelling employees heading to the same event, regardless of whether they are based in the US or internationally
  • Global non-insurance assistance 24/7: dedicated support available around the clock for travel assistance or emergencies
  • Flexible plan: coverage for up to 1,000 business travellers for up to 21 days of travel
  • Pre-existing conditions: pre-existing medical conditions can be covered
  • Cost-effective: flat rate coverage for up to 12 days of travel.

Many corporations are choosing intentional travel (travelling with a clear, actionable goal in mind) with an increased focus on bringing their employees together. With the uncertainties surrounding global travel, it’s important for companies to help ensure appropriate care for employees, no matter where their work takes them.

Battleface’s new Corporate Group product for companies and employees is available for distribution via travel management companies, brokers, or direct to corporations.

Battleface recently partnered with insurance.com.au to offer customisable travel insurance coverage.
