battleface launches API platform in Australia
Travel insurer battleface has launched a new application program interface-driven (API) insurance platform in Australia
battleface stated that the ‘embedded modular insurance’ platform will enable partners to ‘build their own products with predetermined rates and benefits, resulting in complete flexibility for customers’.
The insurer has already partnered with Australian insurers such as Wise & Silent, Awai Travel, and Mustard Underwriting to promote their offerings via its platform.
“When travel insurance is unbundled into individual benefits, partners can build their own products on top of APIs with precise benefits driving higher conversion and overall customer satisfaction,” said Matt McLellan, Managing Director for Australia at battleface. “By partnering with compatible brands across Australia we’re able to offer customers access to products based on their actual travel needs and itineraries.”
battleface also recently partnered with pet travel support website BringFido to offer pet travel insurance coverage.
