Supporting businesses in Africa
ATTA is a member-driven trade association that promotes tourism to Africa from all corners of the world, serving and supporting businesses in Africa by representing buyers and suppliers of tourism products across 21 African countries. With over 630 members, ATTA acts as Pan-Africa’s network of tourism products, covering not only accommodation, transport and travel specialists in Africa, but a formidable selection of tour operators, representation and PR companies worldwide promoting tourism to Africa.
Hugh King, battleface’s Business Development Director in the UK and Europe, commented: “We’re very excited to be announcing our new partnership with ATTA. With Africa very much open for business, we look forward to being of service to their 600 plus members and supporting their objective of promoting tourism to Africa.”
Chris Mears, CEO of ATTA, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with battleface, introducing them to our global network of African travel and tourism specialists. The right travel insurance is essential in today’s environment to help re-build confidence and encourage travellers back to Africa. Battleface have worked in areas of the world where the FCO and global government bodies advise against all but essential travel, so are well versed in understanding today’s requirements.”
Battleface has been offering Covid-19 insurance in the UK since July, including to countries currently advised against travelling to by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
