APRIL International launches pan-European expat health solution
The new offering reflects growing demand for seamless, digitally enabled health cover that supports the complex needs of a highly mobile European expatriate population
APRIL International has launched MyHealth International, a new health insurance solution designed for expatriates across Europe, combining flexible cover, 24/7 assistance, and digital services.
The product offers four levels of protection tailored to different needs and budgets, ranging from essential cover to comprehensive worldwide protection. It is aimed at a broad expat demographic, including young professionals, families, and retirees.
Plans include assistance benefits covering crisis situations such as natural disasters, terrorism, and assault, alongside travel disruption support and third-party liability cover.
A key feature is a virtual payment card, integrated into the Easy Claim app, designed to remove the need for upfront medical payments. The app also provides teleconsultation services and access to mental health support, reflecting a more holistic approach to healthcare.
APRIL International said the offering was supported by a global network of more than two million healthcare providers and over 60 in-house medical experts, alongside a two-zone coverage system allowing continuity of cover when policyholders relocate.
Virginie Faucon, Global Head of Marketing and Brand at AXA Global Healthcare, recently spoke to ITIJ about how companies could meet the evolving needs of expats.
