Announcement: the ITIJ Awards 2026 winners

The ITIJ Awards celebrate excellence across the travel insurance, international health insurance, medical assistance, air ambulance, and international healthcare sectors. Held annually at the conclusion of ITIC Global, the awards recognise the organisations driving innovation, progress, and positive change across the industry.

In 2026, the awards continue to spotlight the companies shaping the future of the sector, from developing innovative insurance products to advancing technology, sustainability, training, and customer services. Entries are assessed by three independent judges per category, with winners determined by the highest scores, celebrating the organisations setting new standards of excellence and making a meaningful difference to travellers and patients worldwide.

This year also saw the introduction of new award categories, reflecting the breadth and evolution of the industry. The former combined Global Travel & Health Insurance Provider of the Year category has been divided into two dedicated awards: Global Travel Insurance Provider of the Year and Global Health Insurance Provider of the Year. We were also delighted to introduce the brand-new International Hospital of the Year award.
