Allianz Partners UK teams up with TUI
Allianz Partners UK has been appointed as the travel insurance provider for TUI’s UK travel business, with the arrangement coming into effect immediately
Under the terms of the partnership, Allianz Partners UK will provide single trip and annual travel coverage through TUI’s booking process.
The partnership will extend to TUI’s wider family of brands, including Marella Cruises and Crystal Ski Holidays.
TUI will also market Allianz Partners’ travel insurance online under its own brand, making it available to travellers who have not booked their trip through them.
The UK partnership is the latest in a series of arrangements between the two companies. TUI is currently moving to provide all its European travel insurance through Allianz Partners, with its operations in Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and the Nordic countries having already made the jump.
“With over 6.5 million live policies at any one time, Allianz Partners is already the leading travel insurer in the UK,” said Andrew Tolman, Head of Travel Insurance for Allianz Partners UK and Ireland. “This new partnership with TUI will strengthen that position. As a specialist travel insurer, our sole focus is to make the end-to-end journey as easy as possible for customers.”
Allianz Partners launched its Allyz app earlier this year.
