Allianz partners with Lynx Air
Allianz Global Assistance has partnered with Canadian low-cost airline Lynx Air to provide travel protection to its customers
Through the new arrangement, Lynx Air passengers will be able to purchase optional coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, and travel medical coverage during the ticket booking process.
The protection will provide coverage for situations not covered by the Canada Transportation Agency’s (CTA) Air Passengers Protection Regulations (APPR), such as last-minute changes, medical emergencies, and unexpected travel issues.
“Allianz is proud to be Lynx Air’s official travel insurance partner,” said Matt Anstett, Director of eComm and Travel Channels at Allianz Partners. “Lynx Air customers who select our travel insurance products can have an even more enjoyable trip knowing that we are here to protect them from unexpected events, covered by their policy.”
Allianz Global Assistance previously partnered with fellow airline Canada Jetlines in May 2022.
