Allianz Partners Australia announces partnership with Singapore Airlines
Allianz Partners Australia is collaborating with Singapore Airlines to offer travel insurance to Australian customers
The company will offer embedded travel insurance to Australian customers as part of Singapore Airlines’ online purchase pathway.
Eligible travellers can now request an immediate insurance quote for their travelling party, and can purchase coverage either during the booking process, or afterwards via the Manage Booking feature.
The expanded partnership builds on the original agreement made in January 2022, which saw Allianz Partners initially offer insurance to Singapore Airlines customers flying from Singapore, Switzerland, and Germany.
This arrangement has now expanded to 28 “high-growth markets”, with the two companies stating they are now looking to expand into further “key” Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries.
“This collaboration represents a strategic leap forward in our long-standing relationship with Singapore Airlines,” said Damien Arthur, Executive Head of Travel at Allianz Partners Australia. “We are excited to leverage our global expertise and innovative solutions to deliver top-tier travel insurance that complements Singapore Airlines’ commitment to excellence.”
Cirium reported a major increase in flight cancellations across Europe in June.
