Allianz Partners appoints new UK and Ireland CEO

Patricia Moon took on the role in March of this year, replacing previous incumbent Tim Tozer
Allianz Partners UK and Ireland has appointed Patricia Moon as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Moon previously served as CEO of Allianz Partners Japan – a position which she took on in 2019. She also previously worked as Allianz Partners Group’s Global Head of Human Resources (HR) in Paris, where she ‘worked on defining the global HR strategy and steering its implementation across more than 30 units worldwide’. She has also worked in various roles at Allianz’s subsidiaries in Germany and Portugal.
The company stated that Moon ‘brings a depth of knowledge and wealth of industry experience gained from 20 years with Allianz in four different countries, across different lines of business and functions’.
She replaces Tim Tozer, who stepped down from the role at the end of February. Tozer has served as CEO since September 2018, and will now take on the role of Non-Executive Chairman, replacing Mike Webb.
In her new position, Moon will report to Allianz’s Regional CEO for Western Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, Alexiz Obligi.
“I would like to extend a warm welcome to Patricia and wish her well in her new role as she continues to drive forward the growth journey for UK and Ireland,” said Obligi. “At the same time, I would like to thank Tim for having developed the business significantly during his tenure and for continuing to provide his valuable support in his new role as Non-Executive Chairman.”
Allianz Partners also announced two other senior appointments earlier this month.
