Each year we have the honour of recognising the extraordinary efforts of companies operating in the travel and health insurance sector that have shown resilience, innovation and creativity throughout the last 12 months at the ITIJ Awards. 

We are delighted to share the shortlist of 2021 ITIJ Awards finalists.

The ITIJ Awards winners will be revealed in Madrid on Thursday 4 November, with a celebration to conclude the 29th annual ITIC Global conference. In light of ongoing restrictions due to Covid-19, the usual black-tie gala dinner affair is taking a different format for 2021, but we are nonetheless celebrating achievement and excellence in the industry with a fantastic lunch, complete with entertainment, and champagne to make sure the event goes with a bang! 

The ITIJ Awards cover all the different sectors of the travel and health insurance industry – insurance providers, affinity partners, air ambulance companies, assistance firms, and all the companies that provide services to those companies in turn. We also have two new awards for this year – Travel Insurance Product Innovation of the Year – which recognises where companies have shown particular expertise and pushed the industry forward by introducing a new product or technology. And Outstanding Contribution of the Year, which rewards companies that have truly stood out from the crowd and made a difference to the travel insurance sector.
